Dear Parents/Guardians:

      We are very excited to present the Teen Action Group (TAG). This unique group offers post-Bar/Bat Mitzvah Jewish teenagers the opportunity to engage with other Jewish teens in a warm, accepting environment where they are encouraged to take leadership roles, build new friendships, explore Judaism, and develop as a young adult.  

      Under the leadership of the TAG Director, the group will have numerous trips, social functions, educational opportunities, and community activism programs. As you can see from the attached tentative schedule of events, each month is packed with innovative and stimulating programming. We at TAG believe that some of the most important growth in a young adult’s life occurs when s/he is with peers. To that extent, we hope that TAG can be a positive venue for socializing, learning, and growing. Each event, from Laser Tag to Friday Night Live, will offer ample opportunities and choices so that every teen has the chance to enjoy him/herself. 

      TAG is a large-scale operation that requires much time and effort on behalf of the TAG staff, as well as a large financial commitment on behalf of TAG. As such, before accepting your application and tuition, we request that you and your teen sit down for a short meeting with a member of the TAG staff. Please call our office or send us an e-mail to arrange for a meeting. The meeting should last no more than 15 minutes. Please bring the completed TAG application to the meeting. We wish for every Jewish teen in the area to have the opportunity to join TAG; if financial concerns are an issue, please contact the TAG director.
